Service hours

Luke will be getting confirmed this upcoming Friday. One of the requirements is to have 30 service hours. We have some friends whose son Lisa sponsored some years ago. Now he is a 23 year oldAir Force Academy graduate going to graduate school in Califronia and is involved in a confimation program out there. So, Luke and I re-sawed some old oak, maple and walnut boards down to 3/8″ thick and then Luke cut them in crosses. He then sanded and varnished them, drilled holes for some cording and added the cording and shipped them to our friend in California to give to his confimation cadidates. The scroll-saw was my father’s. He bought it in the 1950’s.

These are two inches wide by 3 inches tall, suppose. He made 16 of them.
